Tell Susan this is how men treat women in the corporate world so she had better learn to deal with it if she plans on being successful.

The harassment continued to get worse. It progressed into verbal and physical harassment by Tom until Susan could no longer take it. She felt so uncomfortable and threatened at work that she went above your head to your superior. She explained to him what had been occuring, gave him documented copies of the instances and conversations that had taken place, and told him that you refused to help. As a result the situation was investigated and dealt with by your superior and you were fired. Not only did you not follow company policy dealing with how to respond to a potential sexual harassment, but you were blatantly degrading and it cost you your job. If this is something you are faced with at your next job (if you can get another job) hopefully you will think twice before so rudely dismissing sexual harassment complaints.
